Fuji X the vital ingredient for Restaurant shoot

This week I had the task of shooting a few photographs at the soon to be opened Turtle Bay restaurant in Preston, England. It’s a Caribbean themed restaurant and the idea was to go in an grab a few interior shots ahead of the opening event later in the week.

I’d taken along two camera bodies for the job. A Fuji X-T1 with 10-24mm fitted and also the X-Pro1 with 35mm lens attached.  With the X-T1 I was shooting with the camera on a tripod for the interior shots but as there was a few staff around undergoing training, I decided to grab a few portrait shots as well.  For these I used the X-Pro1 and used the Flash Wave III trigger with a Nikon SB-900 and a shoot through umbrella.

I’m now looking forward to returning on the opening night to sample what sounded like a delicious menu.
