Fuji X-T1 and 10-24mm lens for historic Lancaster

A weekend trip to the historic city of Lancaster provided the opportunity for some pictures of old buildings and cobbled streets.  The Castle is medieval and it dates back to some time around the 11th Century.  The Castle gate-house in the picture below is from the 15th Century.

The surrounding streets have retained their historic charm with small entrance doors from a time when people were smaller and cobbled streets – you can almost hear the horse drawn carts being pulled up the hills.

It somehow felt more appropriate for these pictures to be in black and white. They were all taken with the excellent Fuji X-T1 and 10-24mm zoom.
