Today, I used my Fuji X-T1 together with 50-140mm lens and 2x converter to tackle a couple of local football matches.
I was using the match to check on which camera settings worked best. At the moment I’m still trying to work out the best setting for focus accuracy which is still a bit hit and miss. I’m hoping the new Fuji X-T2 will improve things in that regard.
Here are the pictures from my first game of the day, local club Ingol Rangers in a pre-season friendly. Click on any picture to enter slideshow.
My second game of the day was another friendly game between the Fylde Ladies Development Squad and Sir Tom Finney Ladies who play in the North West Division 1 North division. I photographed the Fylde Ladies first team last week when they played Liverpool Ladies and was impressed with the standard of football. That high standard was also in evidence with the Development squad who proved too strong for the home team at UCLan sports arena.
