Beacon Fell

Beacon Fell is a popular Lancashire beauty spot. In Summer it gets very busy but on a bright, cold winter’s day far fewer people make the short trip from Preston (Beacon Fell actually has a Preston postcode) and the surrounding areas.

There are lots of woodland walks and the summit standing at just 873 feet is but a short stroll from the cafe and car park.

I enjoyed an hour or so walking around the fell side. Here are a few photos:
