A mid week local derby on the Fylde was a real battle of a game between two good teams. Rovers were the side that looked most likely to score throughout the game but they didn’t manage to create many clear-cut chances and Fylde defended brilliantly, playing more like the away side. In the end Rovers got their goal and it came from a goalkeeping error. That one goal was the difference between the teams in the end.

When we visit St Ives in Cornwall, we usually stop at the Ayr St Ives Holiday Park. It has great views over the bay but sometimes you’ve got to take time to appreciate the night sky. If you look closely you may even spot the meteor showers.
A hard fought game down at the UCLan Arena finished in a defeat for the home side as Penrith took all three point with two goals in the last 10 minutes. STF had been leading following a bit of a strange deflected second-half goal but on the balance of play they can’t have too many complaints about the result. Penrith pressed STF throughout the game and worked hard for their victory.
