Prince Harry revisits Lancashire flood Village

St Michael’s on Wyre, UK. 23rd October 2017. Prince Harry returned to St Michael’s on Wyre, in follow up to his visit to the flood affected village in February 2016. Around 1700 businesses and homes were damaged across the Lancashire district in the lead up to New Year in 2016.

His Royal Highness met local school children and members of the community to learn about the recovery that has been achieved by the local people. Prince Harry officially reopened the village hall at a reception attended by those who played a crucial role in response to the flooding crisis.
